Since the release of our eApp last year we’ve committed to continuously improving the tool to ensure it meets the needs of you and your customers.

You talked, we listened, and in response to your feedback we’re pleased to share that we’ve made a number of changes to further simplify our medical consent process for you and your customers.

  1. Requests for medical consents will now only be triggered if a customer has been referred to underwriting due to medical reasons and attends a General Practitioner that requires signed consents.

  2. The eApp ‘share’ feature has been updated to allow your customers to complete their medical consent before returning the application to you to validate any underwriting questions and generate an outcome. This should reduce how often you need to go back and request a signature after the ‘share’ has finished.

  3. Completion of consent at the point of application is now optional. This means if you’re unable to provide the required consent at the time, you’ll be able to submit your application through the eApp without it.
